Alumni
- Nil Basu obtained a PhD at Chan's lab at McGill and completed a PDF at Trudeau's lab is now an assistant professor at the Dept of Environmental Health Sciences of the University of Michigan School of Public Health. He and Jessica Head who graduated from Kennedy's lab have their 2nd baby Dylan Michael Basu on Jan15, 2012. Congratulations Nil and Jessica!
- Tammy Rodela earned her PhD in 2011 under the supervision of Drs. Gilmour and Walsh on the hormonal control of urea excretion in the gulf toadfish. She is currently a PDF in the Richards Lab in Zoology at U British Columbia.
- Dr. Johanne Lewis obtained her PhD from Memorial University's Ocean Sciences Centre under the supervision of Dr. Bill Driedzic. Following a PDF with Walsh (and Suzie Currie of Mt. Allison University) she moved to a faculty position at Georgia Southern University in Fall, 2010.
- Dr. Andrew Esbaugh came to U Ottawa and CAREG under an NSERC Postdoctoral Fellowship after earning his PhD from Queens University. He initially worked in the laboratories of Steve Perry and Katie Gilmour, and became a Research Associate at the University of Miami's Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science under Dr. Martin Grosell in 2009.
